I just noticed this. I have 2, 200 sleved cases. I just bought another one this weekend. Damn, I've got 400-450 cd's full of software.
Just wondering if anyone else out there has allot of software. Which ones should I throw out? <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
I don't have that many, but I've got well over a hundred.
plenty but they are all stuff I have done myself or legitimate downloads off the Net.
i have 2x 100 cd wallets of *cough* backups *cough* both are nearly full, in reality though i only use about 10 CD's on a regular basis.
About 100-150. I just keep the necessary ones.

Too Many!
2 100plus cd racks, plus 20 or so just laying around. Most of them I don't use so I should really clean shop.
About 15 (All copies of my hard drive), but have another 100 or so blank ones sitting to one side.
I have loads of old DOS apps sitting on the shelf.
One day I may get an old computer and get them running again.
Honestly, somewhere around 600-700+. Most of them movies, apps and mp3's. And yes, believe it or not, most of the apps are actual backups of the real discs
*and about 100-ish of these discs are my fav music cds I keep in my car, this way if it gets broken into again, I won't have really lost anything.*

About the only time I burn CD's, it's either to back up data (like e-mail, my web server, etc.), to move graphics files for printing, or to make copies of music CD's I already own for the car.
To Many to count
I have way too many. Half the time I'm too "in to" what I'm doing I just throw them on the ground as I realize I don't need them. The next thing I know my floor is composed of cd's. Oh well... my cat loves 'em. In reality I have about 30 that I use. I keep a hard drive for all my backups.
