Andrea Yates of houston

I just have to vent here so I may not be terribly politically Correct. (not that i really care about being pc anyway) I was reading the news articles about Andrea Yates killing her 5 babies. I am so outraged by this scum sucking dung heap from hell. I want the death penalty for her. I know this fixes nothing and have suffered no personal loss by this. None the less I am still outraged that someone could do this to children. Just the thought of the pure terror the 7 year old must have had when he saw his mother drown his baby sister. The betrayal he felt that his mother was doing this. Running for his life only to be dragged back to the tub to be drowned next to his already dead sister. What terror must that be to be struggling while being held under water next to your dead sibling by your mother. I don't want to hear post partum depression, illness or anything else. All I want to hear is Andrea Yates died by lethal injection on such and such day. I would prefer a much more viloent method but will take what we can get. I only hope as that day approaches (hopefully) that she feels even a small amount of the terror that the 7 year old had. Sorry if I am a little harsh on this one but this story really got to me.

I think she should be drowned as well. Why give her the satisfaction of not having the same horrendous feeling that her children had by giving her an injection?

Definitely.

She deserves the same death she gave her children.
Those kids looked to her for protection and nurturing, instead they got death.

Inmates in jail don't take too kindly to child killers or child molestors. I doubt if she'll make it to the death chamber. My guess is they'll drown her in the shower with the candlestick holder. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I am right with you guys on this. Lets hope she doesnt get one of those Liberal courts and another "Dream Team"! Too often we see the hideous cases get away with their life. I cant support her husband either. If my wife had offt my kids I sure as hell would not be forgiving her. I dont understand his reasoning. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but she'll get some insane asylum time, and then get out after a few years. Guilty by reason of insanity. Guaranteed.

I say remove her skin and then drown her slowly in a vat of saltwater or something else that would hurt like hell. Hey even bring her back to life 1 time for each child that she killed and let her recouperate and then do it again. That sick bitch has to feel what she did to her children.

I dont care if you people think this is sick, it was sick killing her children.

Being the father of three my initial reaction was the same. My question is do we just take everyone with a mental illness, line 'em up and shot 'em? Maybe one in front of the other to save bullets? Obviously the woman is tweaked and beyond. She was on medication for chrissakes, so who was monitoring her? Can't solve everything with Prozac. And why was she allowed to be alone with her children if she was tweaked?? I'm not dismissing her responsibility for doing what she did, I think she should be punished, but somebody (husband, doctor,etc.) dropped the freakin' ball.

if she was depressed why didnt she just kill her self. i hope she does get the death penalty and feel the fear her children felt and they kill her a$$

Can't believe she says her depression after having kids could be as bad a military person's who got depress cause their buddies got killed. To equate life and death is wrong.

Here is the one that blows my mind. Her husband was telling the news crews that he will be there for his wife. I got a feeling the guy is in such shock and it really maybe hasnt truly hit him yet, but if she did get off on an insanity plea, how in the hello would he be able to look at her the same?

Don't let it get to ya. The damage is done, and there is nothing we can do about it. So, what if we kill her, or lock her away. It doesn't bring the kids back. Just let the Justice system do the best job they can (which usually cost millions for nothing), and let it go. We need to stop the media from playing up all these Shocking crimes. All it does is cause copy cats. Also, obviously these shocking crimes and accidents doesn't seem to desensitize people from rubbernecking when there is a fender bender on the freeway. Only good thing that will come out of this is that somebody is going to get a bargain price for that house whenever it goes up for sale. <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0">

She was probably going to kill herself after killing her kids, but like that stupid b!tch Susan Smith, she couldn't go through with it.

I don't believe that the death penalty is appropriate (she was OBVIOUSLY nuts). All the insanity plea should mean is that she spends life in the mental hospital instead of jail.

Sad as it is, I imagine your right. Being a mom., I don't understand. I had a mild form of that depression after he was born...if it got that bad, I put him in his crib and went outside, never ONCE would I have even DREAMED of such a thing...hurting my child, or anyone's for that matter. I don't get it. Some sick people out there. I agree that she should get death by some sick means and feel the terror her children did.
