Well, more controversy surrounding our favorite site's move to a subscription basis.
There is a blurb and a survey in the new MaxPC in which the majority if those surveyed said they would never pay for online content.

It is in this months issue, but was not able to find it on the site (http://maximumpc.com), sorry.
I find it slightly amusing that an institution that relies on people subscribing to it is complaining about somebody else doing exactly the same thing.

Well, okay, but it is a little different. To make it a parallel comparison, you'd have to subscribe to the magazine and then read it sitting in the library.
Did they mention me in the article? About my triumphant return in September?

Well the forums aren't subscription yet (or ever, I hope) so I don't think any of us ended up there. But what if the forums did become subscription only?

It's true, it even made the cover. I just went out to 7-11 and bought it. I like to get copies of all magazines about me, like I did the time I was in Time & Newsweek & Sports Illustrated (seriously, the Steelers offered me a QB job when Kordell was in suck mode a couple of years ago).
