I'm jumping out of a plane tomorrow

Wish me luck. Tomorrow I'm going to have a piece of cloth attached to my back and then asked to throw myself OUT of a perfectly good aircraft.
The only thing that is making me do it is for the fact that its for the local childrens ward and a couple of them are coming along to watch me make a hole in the ground if the chute and reseve dont open up.
My mates have been given me courage by telling me the fall wont kill me but the sudden impact of thr ground might have some effect on my life support system.

So if I'm not back on line after 48 hours I give my permission to auction the now world famous WD name "Papa Smurf" on the condition that any money goes to charity. :p :p

In all honesty I dont think I've been this concerended for my well being since...well my last bungee jump. Has anyone one got any advice apart from dont look down and dont die.

Listen & be calm, I did mine in the services so there was no changing my mind! You can so be sure!

Do your checks & rember what you've been taught.

If its any consolation papa, there was an air hostess who fell out of an aeroplane at 25,000 feet with no parachute and survived....

i would never jump out of a plane i have a great fear of hightes, i even hate getting on rollercoaster. when friends or family invite me to go to an amusement park or carnival i always come up with a lame excuse why i cant go.

thats why i just stick to caving.

was jumping up of a perfectly servicable aircraft your bright idea to raise money or did it seem a really good idea when someone signed you up after a few shandy in the pub.
All parachutes come with a guarantee if both chutes fail to open just bring them straight back and they will give u a new one's.

seriosly hope u raised loads of dosh for the children and had a gr8 time doing it. :D
