This is too funny...now they are getting sued because the P4 sucks so much (IMO) :p :D

Another example of people being "Sue Happy", I wont comment on the Intel vs. Amd though... its useless..
I agree with you there... :rolleyes:Quote:

Suing for petty reasons is getting so popular it should be added as an offical event to the next olympic games.
That comment I 1/2 agree with. Some benchmarks have been written to be better for one processor over the other, and vice versa, so benchmarking isn't THE best way to determine the performance of a chip. Its a good tool, but not something you should solely make your choice on. (what about reliability, expected life, etc?)Quote:
"The right answer really is benchmarks," he says. "We need to have a way that people can really see the difference between PCs."
Man, you gotta be f'in kidding me. I could give 5 reasons to go with Intel over AMD right now but will not so we don't have the AMD vs Intel debate flare up. This is litigious bull**** at it's worst.
Is it perhaps true that incremental CPU upgrades just aren't all that important anymore?
Anyway, I agree this is overly litigious.
Fine I guess I will sue AMD for this stupid chip rating that misleads the customers and sales people. Seems to be a stronger case then your products sucks like the original suit claims.
Anyone notice that they are suing compaq and HP? I would never ever trust a benchmark ran on one of these computers anyhow!
By the way, Ford and Chrystler I think your vehicles suck so get your lawyers ready!
Hey, if you don't do you'r homework when buying a pc, you may get screwed. That's it. Hell I bought a Cyrix once. Did I sue? Hell no. It was still a lot faster than my old 486.
They say that there is no benefit to consumers in choosing the Pentium 4 over the Pentium 3. What a load of poop. The increase in clock speed makes up for the lower performance per hz. Plus you have a faster memory interface.
At a price ;) , so no benefit!? unless you pay, which is a contradiction... but I'm confus-ed(Ha!)...Quote:

Windoze is the problem & Von Whatshisname Architecture, Processors are fast enough we can't move the stuff to the right places fast enough, if you wanna go faster get some processors being co-operative....
So stick that up your Intel V AMD debate!:flame: :D :D :D
:eek2: :eek2: :eek2:
isn't this amazing how we are managing to keep this away from the age old intel/amd debate?
I'm proud
just curious which is better?? intel or amd
:D :D

I do believe they(cyrix) are superior in the temprature department. Or at least the current generation is. I heard many stories of old cyrix chips getting WAY too hot. :flame:Quote:
