Puppy!

Well, we went and did it... We got ourselves a puppy. Our insurance company doesn't have a problem with German Shepherds. Woohoo!

We picked her up on Saturday from the breeders. She was born Feb 9/04 (just about 9 1/2 weeks old now). She's the daughter of two Canadian German Shepherd Champions and the cutest puppy (when she's not trying to eat everything in sight!).

Because we just want a pet, and not a dog to show, we chose to get a long-haired puppy from the litter. This way she can't be shown and isn't a temptation to breed.

I wanted a german shepherd or a husky puppy so bad when I was younger..my mom wouldn't have any of it.........we came so close to buying too.........damn un-requited childhood dreams....

I'm trying to attach a picture, but I keep getting the message that the file is too big. How the heck can I put in a 1 byte file???

Stupid Shaw! Computers not currently configured to connect to shaw's network (any PC other than the home one) are not able to use FTP. So it does have to wait until I get home. Ah well...it's all good. I'll try to upload this evening.

I have the same problem with Bell Sympatico - if your IP is not part of their range, you're out. :mad:

Bell Sympatico SUCKS... Ever talk with customer support.. No matter what the problem it's the computers fault....

Spoke with them last night, as a matter of fact, about an internet phone I'm testing out with them for a month.

Took 5 minutes to fix up the problem.

All issues I've had since 1997 have usually been resolved within the hour of my call, be it a billing situation, promotions being honoured or technical foibles.

Never hit a dud with them yet.

I get 3 Customers a week with Bell problems, Bell aways tells them it's the computers fault. One guy even had a DSL modem that was smoking and they STILL said that it was the computers fault not theirs. Or how about their virus protection service that doesn't work. But I wonder if your calls go to Toronto or if they are handled out west ..... I think that could make BIG a difference
