What a idiot
Last night I visited my mum just for a chat. I was sitting down about to start drinking a cup of coffee when the door bell rings. Turns out it was for me, so I went to see who was wanting me. It was the a guy that lives at the top of the street. He looked pi$$ed and was carrying a laptop.
He proceded to tell me that the "Dumba$$ company I worked for has looked at this Laptop FOUR times and it still has the same problem". He then demandeds that I look at it right away and fix it.
Now heres the interseting thing. The company he was on about probably DID fail to fix this guys problem but I had left that company TWO years ago!!!!!!
I told the guy that I no longer worked there and to get lost as it aint my problem. He then said I was a liar and that he SAW me working on a PC at his company that day. I told him that was impossible as I work for a totally different company doing a different job and not been on that site for years.
This didnt go down too well with the idiot and he proceded to inform me that he would get me sacked from my job "aka the job I left 2 year back" for lying. At this point I was getting bored and told him to go away ang quit bugging me as it wasnt my problem and slammed the door.
This morning my mum has just phoned me as she has found a letter addressed to me at my old house. Its from the idiot, He has gone and written a letter of complaint about my attitude problem and lack of customer service to my boss and would like me sacked. He said he has also sent a copy of the same letter to my "boss" aka the guy I dont work for now, as well as a letter to his own company IT department head asking them to refuse me entry to there offices.
Jeez, This guy just wouldnt listen to the facts. Its his problem not mine he can dig himslef out of the mess he landed in.
WHAT A IDIOT.
LOL This guy is in for a helluva shock when he finds out that I was telling the truth.
Cheers

At least he's identifying you to your old workplace by name. Otherwise the tech there who looks like you would be saying, "But..but..but I didn't do that!"
-
Lol, now that is funny :D :D :D
some people are really THICK
-
LOL, thanks for the morning smile :D What's scary is that he tracked you down to your mother's house! You're lucky he wasn't violent. LOL LOL
-
LOL, sniff, wipes eyes. Hahahahaha.
-
IF that would've happened to me, I probably would've given him the ol' boot to the *** . Idiots like that deserve it.

LOL. That's funny and also a bit ironic....
I always get a big laugh out of these rants about how stupid someone is when the punchline in the rant is either misspelled or written with incorrect grammar. "What a[n] idiot." :D
-
sheesh, I'd rock up to your old work and have achat with them, then get your new work uniform (if you have one that is..) and with your old boss wander around to the knob's house and invade HIS private time.
Oh and Sowulo : Gees you an killjoy man! :p Let an guy make an post witout haslling him for his speling man! gees

Most times, I would think grammar checks, no matter how specific I am about my own grammar, are usually pretty petty and misplaced. However, coming from you Sowulo, that is mighty amusing. :D

So, if this guy worked for say, a car repair shop, and you had your car serviced there and you weren't satisfied, could you just drop your car off at his house to fix it?
It kills me how people treat computer techs. You know, we have a life outside of work(quit laughing, I do, really).
And then they get irate when you tell them that you don't/won't/can't fix it for them right then, right now.
I feel like Rodney Dangerfield...no respect.
-
Why didn't you grab the guy by the front collar and psuh him out to the street and chunk his laptop in the gutter?!?! I don't give a dang if we are techs. We are human and don't deserve to be treated like that much less treated like we are at the beck and call of everybody else. Not to mention you where at your "mums" house and that is not cool. How would a garbage guy treat you if you went bangging on his door demanding him to take your washer and dryer to the city dump? He would beat the every living crap out of you! http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/teeth.gif

It *is* true we rarely get the respect we deserve as human beings.
I don't think it's acceptable to be screamed at, disrespected or threatened by clients.
When I am king, they'll be the first ones up against the wall ;)

Yeah, I think you understand my point. I'm not ripping the guy's grammar. Usually, I could care less as long as I don't have to work too hard to figure out what is being communicated. However, in this case the irony of it all was just too much to resist. :D :D :D

Now that is a good idea!
Actually, I'd have been a little more than concerned with how the chucklehead got my mothers address. I think I'd have threatened to call the police or something else a little less friendly. It is kind of funny though.

This guy lives 4 doors away from my mums house. I moved out of my mums house a little over a year ago. The guy seen my car sitting there when I was round at her house and decided to chance his luck.
I havnt heard of him since the "incident" and quite frankly I dont give a s**t
about him. That was the main reason I slammed the door in his face cause another 30 seconds and I would of punched the guys lights out.
Cheers

PS Yes I noticed the mistake in the heading but I was just too lazy to fix it. Anyway I got my point across
:D

I would have taken the laptop, but as he was handing it over, let it slip from my fingers and smash on the floor. 'oooops - accident'
