Outsourcing Tech support
We recently started building decent amount of PC and want to outsource the tech support. I tried getting in-touch with askdrtech, but was never able to get an account sales person on the phone! Does anyone know of a good company that provides third party tech support?

You can call Joe Phillips at Computer Tech in Atlanta, GA. 678-380-4714 Direct.
He can hook you up with a nation wide company that does voice support. They sell by the seat and I think you need to be buying at least 100 seats before they would consider selling you their service. They also can arrange onsite hardware support if you need it.
Joe's a good guy.

What do you mean by "seats"?

My partner is calling him now :) Thanks. I'll let you know who it goes.
Anyother companies you guys know of?

I work for a company called Convergys. They outsource to everyone and are international.. Some contracts have included NetZero, RoadRunner, MS XP OS support.

Do they provide PC Tech support. I didn't see anything on their website.

the call centres i know about don't, but you'd have to get in contact with them to find out for sure

Every user they support is a "seat". They charge by seat. I should get myself a 900 number and start doing tech support :D

you could contact Alorica. They do tech support for askdrtech, PriorityOne, Packard Bell, NEC, Emachines, US robotics among a few others. If you'd like I can get you in contact with them.

sorry forgot to mention something... They don't have a seat minimum that I am aware of. Some of the accounts only have about 10 people on them. Also, they obviously do both hardware and software support.

Call me.
I work for a company in san francisco, all we do is outsourced, on-site and over the phone tech support. We also charge very reasonable prices. (415) 775-6103 ext. 113

I'll call you tomorrow

I will have to get the phone number for you. In the meantime you can take a look around the website... www.alorica.com The part that would probably interest the most is under services and solutions then managed services. They have email contacts there as well. At the latest I should have the number for you tomorrow.
