Custom Avatars

OK, now that the avatars are back, I see some people still have thier old custom avatar. My old custom avatar is gone, I have no custom avatar available in my profile. But I don't see a link to upload a new one either.

So, how do I go about getting a custom avatar back??

I would say email to [email protected] if we don't hear anything new from Scott...

Actually, I e-mailed one to Scott last week and still haven't had put up yet. Not sure if he just didn't get the e-mail, or if he's waiting until he gets the upload hack working or what the deal is. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Scott seems to have the same sense of time as she who must be obeyed does in my house. It gets done when they feel like it/get around to it, just smile sweetly and wait...and wait...and(you get the drift?)

I just emailed scott....i hope the begging will work

Unless there are restrictions, he'll get back to you pretty quick.

I e-mailed him last night ('round 3AM) and when I logged in this morning my custom avatar was available in my profile already! :eek:

Will the hack to allow us to change our avatars be put in? I really hate bugging scott, makes me fee like a mooch or a pest or something when I e-mail him even though I've only done it like 3 times.

I seem to recall reading somewhere here in the forums a while back that you need a certain amount of posts before you can request a custom avatar. Is this still the case, and if so, what is the required number of posts?
