Ummmm...there are no pop-up ads, at least I've never seen one. Secondly, as you know, I am no longer in control of that but wil ask.
I have had at least 2 today offering me credit cards when this has been the only browser window open. Only small ads but never the less a little irritating when they popup as you are typing away without looking at the screen , only to find that the last 200 words haven't been entered and need to be retyped :D :D

That pisses me off badly when that happens but I too have not see a pop-up ad from this site ever.
Only been since Friday that they have occured. Before then was fine.
I was getting them when online here for a couple of weeks but did a full reinstall last Thursday to try out some new hardware and haven't had any here since....Perhaps some spyware crap that got past my ad-aware maybe????
Seems like popup ads are happening more and more lately no matter where you go. Especially those ones that advertise small miniature cameras.
i got a couple last night at home, cleared the cookies and temp int. files and it worked fine after that.
I've never gotten any pop up ads from WD before <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
I know this is superbasic and you know this stuff already, but have you run AdAware recently?

Probably :D :D
No popups here either...
check your installed programs list for newdotnet. been seeing it alot latley in shop, ppl usually complaning bout IE doing stupid things when that is loaded.
I have never seen a Popup from WD. I know you are a file sharing fan now so I can tell you that things like Kazaa, Morpheus and other have Popups from CC companies, that stupic camera and others. Even if you run it minimized in the systray you can get them. You wouldn't happen to have a PPP sharing thing open while you're posing do you?
