No PM is necessary. He objected to some things SubZero said about him, and told Scott he wouldn't stay on unless SubZero was removed as a moderator.

SubZero is still here and he is not.

There has been altogether too much fighting over this issue by people who are not in the know already.

Some points against fighting this out in public:

#1--none of us know all of the facts behind the scenes. Therefore all of our arguments are imperfect by definition.

#2--even if for some reason all of us reached consensus on what Scott and the mods should do about it, neither Scott nor the mods are required to do what we think they should. All we can ever do is make a suggestion which Scott might or might not agree to.

#3--the amount of fighting that has gone on already has caused serious damage and made at least two good friends of mine leave this site, probably for good. Do you want this to happen to two of your good friends as well?

Do the smart thing. Let it be.

agree with Wayward Clam ,,,,some people witnessed (admittedly not in the mods louge) what was happening.

I personally did not get involved with the comments, and will NOT take sides on this matter, as said before ...things prob happened in the mods room AS WELL as the st/room.

this is an unfortunate incident , and i personally miss curts "edited by suwolu" comments, I learnt the hard way , but ALL the mods have been fare with me.

I think this is best just leaving as it is.

All I know is that this used to be a pretty good site for TECHNICAL help. I used to rely on this site when I needed quick solutions and had already exhausted my own knowledgebase. Sowulo's knowledge will be greatly missed. WD has taken another small step away from being a TECH site towards being just a message board.

Personally, I think it's a shame.
