You're trying to link to something on the "secure" :rolleyes: side of HotMail: your mailbox, which won't work. You'll have to post whatever it is on a web host and link from there.

Oh, so you're viewing your HotMail thru Outlook Express. The reason I said HotMail was because the link you tried to post was from HotMail.
Anywho, what you're trying to do is post a pic on the forums. So here's a quick rundown:
You do not "upload" pictures to this bulletin board, you must store the pictures on your own site and then link to them using the IMAGE tags. Unfortunately, the vast majority of free web hosts like XOOM, Geocities, Tripod, and Angelfire do NOT allow you to store pictures there and link to them from other sites. The best bet is to use the free webspace that most ISP's give you as part of your internet package. You'll have to check with your ISP to see if you have webspace available and how you can upload to it.
I might add to Mac's advice the fact that any link you use that has capital letters in it will show up as a RedXInAWhiteBox.
:D thanks Shamus thanks Mac. i do app. your replys!!!!!this has been driving me nuts :mad: :confused: !!!!!!!!

<img src="http://home.texoma.net/~fluff2/newcamaro003.jpg" alt=" - " />
OK, now you're getting closer. The URL for the picture you have used is
<a href="http://home.texoma.net/~fluff2/newcamaro0003.~" target="_blank">http://home.texoma.net/~fluff2/newcamaro0003.~</a>
Which just needs a bit of fixing up so that you're using an image extension (.gif .jpeg or .jpg)
I'm getting a "page not found" when pasting the link to your picture into the browser's address bar.
I've also tried variations for the file extension (.GIF, .JPG, JPEG and lowercase too) without success.
Also, the alias "fluff2" isn't listed on <a href="http://home.texoma.net/" target="_blank">Texoma's</a> as a recognized subscriber.
If you want to explore this further, send me the pic by e-mail and I'll put it up for you so that you can link to it in the forums. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Nice wheels BTW. :D
this is my sons 68 :D .is the picture to big?i thought it was ,so i deleted it out to resize it, i guess Mac& Adept came in after the delete.what would be a good size for the site here. :D
I'd suggest a maximum width of 400 pixels. Gets the info across without being too big.
To do image resizing, get <a href="http://www.irfanview.com" target="_blank">www.irfanview.com</a>
