Where ARE the forum rules? Everyone keeps saying that I'm not following them when I have never actually read them.

Thank You! Now the rules are a lot less vague. However I think quite a few members have violated many of these rules, especially on the tech lounge, but it's always accompanied by a :D
It might be a good idea to post a link to these right on the top of the forum list page so they are clear to all. Just a thought...
Are they already there and I just passed by them?
No the link is not on the site here as Jimmr only put them into type the other day. The rules are only guidelines and ultimatly the descretion on them is down to the Mods. If it is just in harmless fun , then we let it go, but if it is malicious or outright blatent disregard then it gets deleted.
You might have already noticed Darren's post about the rules on every forum, but here they are, just in case:

... or just a mods joke ... <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">Quote:

Why wasn't this done as a forum notice rather than posting the same thing into every forum?
You could have saved yourself a lot of time and effort and not cluttered up the forums.
Because we (Moderators) don't have administrative rights upon the forums. The only one who can do it, is the Administrator and he's too busy these days. We try to make it easier for him and we wouldn't like to annoy him all the time.

Also, most people don't read the announcements. Because I'm still occasionally getting emails/PM's requesting computer help, which could be requested in the forums.
At least now it will probably get read.
...and there is a link to the rules at the upper-right of most if not all pages in the forums....
Now you know why I stopped all PM's & Emails. I get enough email as it is daily without an extra 100 or so via the Forums.Quote:
