I like WinAmp best. It can do quite a bit, and it's not overly bloated.
Winamp!
Nah, nothing can beat Winamp, cos Winamp really whips the llamas ***!! :D
But seriously, Winamp is the best - uses almost no resources, does lots and takes up almost no screen real estate...
BurnFEST
WinAmp & MusicMatch, they are all as good as each other and both have pros & cons, but I don't use them for just MP3's though, all audio is channeled through them.
WHAT ?!?!?!?!?
There is another MP3 player besides Winamp ?
Why didn't anyone tell me ?
Was there a memo ?
Why didn't I get the memo ?
:p
Pure unadulterated winamp......
conserves computing resources..especially on my p100 desktop.... :D
Winamp!
Personally I use Winamp and Sonique both. I like the visuals on both but Sonique works better on the computer on the job.
Damm what was the name of that thing...............oh yes WINAMP :D
winamp ... keeps processor usage low .. and hardly no memory .. no question on it
WinAmp, what else!
WINAMP really DOES whip the llama's ***! :D RealJukebox, WMP, all too bloated, WinAmp is a programmer's wonder. Fast, skinnable, versatile. Although it really could use a CD encoder...
Isn't it funny how all but one person has called Winamp their favorite, and that one person STILL likes Winamp? :D
Winamp is the way to go. Period.
I didn't think anyone questioned who was #1.
Everyone Knows Windows Media Player is the best.

i think every one has aready said what i use
I like winamp, but I have one problem with it. Sometimes I want to hear a certain song, so I double click on it. But if I double click on it while another song is playing, it stops the current song and plays the new one. In Music Match it just adds the song the playlist. Anyway of making winamp do the same thing? I know I can setup preset playlists, but I don't like them. I just open what ever I feal like listening to at the time.
Winamp wins hands down, I wish other products were as reliable. (not mentioning any names)
That is just an option. Go into the prefrences menu>setup>file types. then on the right side of the screen the second option up is 'enque as default action'. Then it'll work like a champ and double whip the llamas ***.

Hey Naked Boy! Go into the Preferances... Under the section "File Types" you can check the box for "Enqueue As Default Action" That'll make it add to a playlist, instead of stopping the current song.
Oh yeah, did I mention, Winamp rocks
Did i hear blasphemy??? MS WiMP Best??!?Quote:

Since I heard of winamp I've never tried anything different, simply because winamp satisfies all my needs.
I've hooked about 50 people on winamp myself Im sure some of them have told people and so on.......
:D
Winamp by far
PlayCenter 2 from Creative Labs
I use RealJukebox, mostly because I have the Plus version.
WMP defies the laws of nature by both sucking and blowing. It skips terribly, and has the worst crossfade I've ever heard.
Yeah Winamp is sweet. I found version 2.4 or something on disk the other day. Even then it kicked ***.
What do you expect from a Micro$uck product? Hehe...6.4 is fine for whatever video I need, but it's not my default audio player. 7 sucks AND blows AND bites. And 8 probably will too.Quote:

Packrat, I tried RJB, and it really is slow. Better than WMP but slow. Do you have WinAMP? Do you like WinAMP better or no?
You can tell the kind of people who make Winamp aren't just hung up on the proprietary music formats, alliances, advertising, and SDMI crap. They are probably MP3 lovers themselves and not just a huge company like Real or Microsoft.
Long live Winamp.
Yes, of course it's the best. These Winamp people just don't get it. Pfft, who needs a fast media player, WMP is slow! :rolleyes:Quote:

JK ;-)
Winamp is ok...... But i use and like Winplay3 the best.......
I use Winamp for playing and SonicFoundry, SirenJukeBox to encode,. only thing Winamp wont do,..........
I don't like winamp for some reason...call me what you will, but I like WMP 6
I like WMP 6 if given a choice between 6 or 7! But I heard 8 is supposed to be much faster...Quote:

BTW I forgot who said it but thanks for the Winamp queueing tip!!!
:D ;)
Winamp Here!
Winamp is still the best but it now has one limitation. If you convert your CDs to WMAs (no comments please) and try to play them in Winamp on a Win 2000 pro machine, the Windows Media licensing web page pops up and it won't let Winamp play the songs.
8 Does. It takes forever to load, the skins don't work right, and surprisingly enough, ITS A MEMORY HOG!!!Quote:

I installed the most recent version of Winamp, and it looks and sounds good, but I STRONGLY dislike the playlist setup. Horribly slow scrolling, and not very intuitive. I uninstalled it and went back to RJB+.
Ive been happy with musicmatch jukebox
