Yep. The post office that deliver's all of my store's mail (Eatontown, NJ) is closed.
Guess why?
The found part of it contaminated with Anthrax, and I'm not tlaking about he 80's band either...
Same with the Edison, NJ office.
Not only that, I've learned that a lot of mail, if its suspected of being contaminated, its being incinerated (sp?). So we're keeping a very close eye on all of our bills etc...

Here's the list of what I know either are or have been shut down for more than 2 days (in NJ)
Princeton (open)
Trenton (open)
Edison (still closed about 1 week)
Eatontown (still closed about 1 week)
Red Bank (open)
Shrewsbury (open)
Jackson (open)
Middletown (open)
Manchester TWP (open)
Hamilton TWP (closed since it first started)
Boxes in Princeton, Hamilton, and Trenton are being sealed shut and shipped out.
And don't forget the ones in NYC and DC.
I hope the 'terrorist" got what he/she wanted - a bunch of New Jersians pissed off at them, and a lot of companies pissed off at them.

People are already abusing it.
"Customer states that local post office has been closed and his bill was not sent out, being kept for Anthrax investigation".

1) The customer claimed they mailed the bill over a week before it was closed
2) Their bill wouldn't even go near this postal facility (unless they're mailing it to the store, so see #3)
3) You do not send your bill to the store, they go to Kansas

My parents were living in Nashua at the time, but I was born in Manchester to Quebecer parents residing in the US (my dad was learning a new trade).
They moved back to Canada when I was about 9 months of age.

The building thing was bad.. But I reckon Anthrax scares like this is worse.. I really get pissed when organisations/countries use unguided, uncontrollable tactics..

Its not a new "outbreak", what they did was track all the packages that leave the Hamilton Facility, where the letters came from AND all the boxes are, and tracked where they went to. Eatontown tests all the area codes in NJ that begin with 077 (its a hub). That tested positive.Quote:

So, honestly, it could have been there for months and noone knew nor got infected.
But right now, its closed, Edison, NJ is closed and many boxes in Trenton, Hamilton, and Priceton are being sealed and "sent out".
I just moved to NH about a year ago... I'm living in Litchfield. Right between Manchester and Nashua. It's a decent place but I'd rather move back to Maine.

My girlfriend is going to college at Saint Anselms. We started dating when she was in highschool and moved together for college. I work full time and attend Saint A's part time.

Well, since the Anthrax stuff started, I think my Post Offices (either the Princeton or Lawrenceville offices) have been shut down a couple times. Ain't it cool. I moved from NYC for something a little quieter and end up in the center of Anthrax land.
