Earth & Beyond - anyone playing?

Anyone playing Earth & Beyond yet? If so, who are you & what server are you on?

I'm Cyclonus on the Galieo server. Level 8 Jenqui Explorer. Just started playing, and if you see me online, have some manners and say hi. :)

I played the Beta for two weeks and loved it but 49.99 for the game and I heard 12.99 a month to play pretty steep for one game?

They should charge for one or the other.

Worth every penny IMO - this is the first & only MMORPG I've found to be worth what they're asking.

But 200.00 dollars for 1 year, I don't think it would keep my interest long enough. I also got a little peaved w/ high level players hogging all the lower level combat areas just for combat leveling and giving us newbies no chance to level up. But I agree its the first ORPG I considered before.

Who knows I might still take the plunge.

When you purchase the full game do you get a free month or do you have to sign up right away?

They do say the first 30 days are free with no obligation, but during the account/profile set-up, it asks how you would like to be billed in the future. I dunno, I bought one of teh 90 came cards with it when I got the game, so I went ahead & put that in.

I might pick it up this weekend if I do ill catch up with you.

I will setup a charachter in Galieo and get back to you

Sounds great - but there's no way I'd have time for that...

Well, I don't have a lot of time either. I say to hell with the side jobs, housework, etc; and take one or two hours for myself a couple time per week.

Admittedly, that means my character will progress slowly, but I'm still having fun.

Maybe we should form a Windrivers Guild online...and cater to those who have to work for a living!

I play on the Andromeda server, my main character is one of the Founders Federation. His name is Bryson and is a level 126 Terran Trader. I haven't been online in awhile but I'll probably play again soon.

When u max out at 150 if you start a new Cha start it on the Gallielo server and meet up with us. considering a WD guild

BTW, I sent you email yesterday, EA finally asked who gets the credit, so you should see the SP and ca$h.

Last nite I was near Arx Spartori (at least, I think that's what it was called), there were Jenquai all over nuking the NPC Progen Specialists for Combat XP, I kept shadowing them and looting the hulks they missed...went up 2 trade levels doing that and trading away higher-lvl weapons and such.

I was in beta for that game. The graphics looked awesome! I was a Jenqui Explorer for the most part. I havent playen in a long time.. I got wrapped up in Jumpgate again.

Missed ya last nite; I was on from 6:30p till 9p...finally got my Sentinel to a decent lvl

i was on night before last; my Progen Sentinel is now at lvl 34 (combat 11, explore 13, trade 10). Doing OK, just scored a hull upgrade, can now mount 3 weapons instead of 2.

Running a few missions simultaneously, keeping me busy.

Probably will be on tonight as well.

Look for Xorth; I left him docked in Ragnarok (Trader's Fort) when I last logged off.

As for the guild, I've hooked up with Veteran's Armada, the only qualification we need is that you be prior (or currently) enlisted in the armed forces...figured 11 years in USAF more than qualified me for that.

A tour in the Navy and Desert Shield/Desert Strorm ought to Qualify me Ill have to check it out. Ill keep my eye out I have Three Chas on in Gallielo.

I still play... not a really high lvl but I'm at lvl 84 enforcer

Where'd you end up when you were over there, or were you based strictly on ships?

I got my butt sent to El Saud (got to hear half a million jets at 2am when the $hit hit the fan that morning); from there went to Kuwait's main airport to set up initial comms (I was in a contingency communications element at the time); closed out my time in the sandbox with coordinating airdrops to the Kurds in southeastern Turkey.

I wsan't on much this weekend; in-laws took the kids to their place for the weekend, so I was "busy" with the wife ;-)

I'l be online tonight, though; most likely around 7pm EST.

I was on a Ship the whole time USS FOX a Guilded Missle Crusier. We stopped all over though Bahrain mostly but Saudi, Abu Dubai, and a few others The Middle East was sooo boring. Its COld as hell in the winter LOL who woulda thought u could freeze in the desert LOL
