Better than the other 2?? Wow. I love the other 2. Please refresh my memory, how did the bad terminator die in the 2nd movie? How do they handle Sarah Conner?
In T2, both the Terminators were "smelted" in molten metal. I hope it has the same feel as the other two movies without some of the original actors involved...
Well, without giving too much away, she died just after judgment day should have happened.Quote:

T-3 was pretty good. I liked it
Thing is, Arnold showing his butt was not cool, and he is running for mayer in calfornia...
Bull****. He's easily got the San Fransisco vote wrapped up now.Quote:

I liked the movie. My date liked Arnold's butt, I'll leave that judgement to the fairer sex.
I had a bit of a problem with taking remote control of cars that have no motors, no actuators, no hydraulics, nothing at all to cause steering wheels to turn and brake pedals to depress but you have to give movies a bit of leeway I guess.
And they most certainly set up Terminator 4. Hopefully that one will have more of the future war between the humans and the machines like T1 had.
With him still looking that good at that age I think he is allowed to show off whatever he wants.
I musyt agree, I saw it friday and it kicked some serious tail. It had a grittier feel than the second one did. Although there was some really campy moments during the action sequences.
It felt like a 3 minutes roller coaster ride. There was no build up like in the first one....it just went straight to in your face action. Handing out plot moments during the action.
Some people may not like that pacing, but I thought they did it well.
Claire Danes was an interesting pic though I must say.
damn he was gettng fat too. not ni this movie he looks buffer than ever...Quote:

and the chick is hot..you get to see her sweet butt :D
yeah theres alot of things liek that in the mvoies, but still looking away from that I still enjoyed the movie.. thing is every time a movie uses computer lingo its always wrong and they have to put in things that make you think, wtf!!! but hey its a movie supposed to be fake, and creative...oh well I give it a 4 out of 5Quote:

j/k that was bad
At the San Diego Comic Con last year Arnold said if T3 did good enough he would make a T4 to finish the story.:D
I dont think that will be an issue since its already #1 at the box, and reviews are actually turning out to be pretty good, despite its actiony blockbuster roots.Quote:

I agree though some of the action sequences were rather campy especially the remote controll cars.
I hope 4 takes them up to the first time travel sequence. When arnold was first sent back to kil Sara Conner. If you remember the mythos right the machines sent him back as a last ditch effort as their empire crumbled and the humans started regaining control.
Whoever they get to write 4 is gonna have one helluva a story to write and some major paradoxes to overcome.
if they were smart they could make 4 really good then have or even 6..thats if arnold wants to do it that long... 4 and 5 I think would be the lasts anything over hat and its pushing that movie to farQuote:

oh and the only real catchy quote from this movie is....
"She'll be back!"
i read somewhere that he worked out 2 to 3 hours a day for months before the filming to regain his Terminator sizeQuote:

A well aged Terminator is goes back in time to protect John Connor. The only problem? He's forced to move around on a Lark Electric Scooter and, due to the onset of Ahlzeimer's, sometimes tries to kill John Connor.

there was talk that the wrestler Triple H would play Kon in that movie. its about time they came out with a new Conan movie. theres a lot of stories about Conan in his golden years that would fit with Ah-nulds slightly aged body
anyone read any of the original Conan stories by Robert Howard and L Spague De Camp? those were cool
I agree another adaptation of Conan....in the right hands....would be nice to see on the big screen again.Quote:

And big Arnie would work perfectly with some of the latter stories where he has found his kingdom and is aged slightly.
Although I dont think they could ever top the intensity the first one had. The second one to me was...well....it could have been better.
I don't know what crack they were handing out at the theaters you guys went to but that movie SUCKED the whole movie i wanted to go get my money back and i can sit through some pretty bad movies. how did they spend 200 mil on that crap??!! who the hell wrote that script, there was none of the same feel of the other movies, it was just bland. they barely went into the TX, it felt like they were just rushing through just to leave the door open for the next bunch of the series. i wish they would have spent more time and put more energy into it. i love the terminator series, and yes there were a few parts that put a smile on my face but overall i was very disappointed, long live T2.....
dunno I liked it, thats how I felt about the Matrix Relaoded movieQuote:

ehh...there's at least one in every crowd.
I had a brief problem with the remote controlled cars, but then I engaged my Suspend Disbelief System(tm) and thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
The car chase was intense. The toe-to-toe battle of the Terminators rocked. The tech explainations, while not perfect, was a lot better than most movies. The ending FELT right.
Kristanna Loken is gorgeous, but it is Claire Danes that really turns my crank. :D
I give T3 a 4.5 out of 5.
T3 was an extremely bland movie.
Don't get me wrong... the special effects were tremendous, the action shots wonderful, the chases, great, the combat fast and furious...
The movie was all packaging though, no substance to it. T2 was MUCH better.
Kinda reminds me of the Matrix, Jurassic Park, and Godzilla. All budget-heavy monsters made by people who don't understand that there actually still has to be a story somewhere underneath all that glitz or the movie won't work.
I still enjoyed seeing it, and don't regret paying the $ to do so.
yeah,Quote:

but it was entertaining :)
Suppose those that instead of just judging this one all by its self, you were to take them in as the entire three.
The movie as a sequel did not need that much of a plot since the entire mythos has already been established. We already known the major characters, and the major plot lines.
Why try and reinvent the wheel?
I feel that the pacing was perfect....and the movie needed not be plot heavy for the fact that its the third one. It added just enough new stuff to not get people confused, but still keep them watching. Thats IMHO what a sequel should be.
My only complaint about the plot line in this one is they never covered how skynet was brought back up.
Of course thats an entire movie in and of itself I imagine.
People go into movies with TOO high of expectations and get mad when the movie doesn't live up to them. More even with T3 because T2 was even better then 1 so everyone thought 3 would be even better then T2. I always go into a movie thinking that it will be just ok. Sometimes I am surprised sometimes not.
Actually, I thought the first movie was better.
