if it makes you feel less old she was probably in her 20's when she made Fast Times.
I wonder what she looks like now.
Speaking of that - what ever happened to her career?
she peaked with the Gremlin series and Drop Dead Fred was the beginning of the endQuote:

(1989) Married Kevin Kline.
She was originally going to play the role of Annie Banks in the remake
of "Father of the Bride" (1991) but became pregnant, so she had to
drop out. The role then went to Kimberly Williams.
Retired from acting to be a full time mother.
She got married to Kevin Kline I believe, does a lot of theatre work now.

I remember the original Barbara Eden in "I Dream of Jeannie"
I also remember "Gilligan's Island when it was shown on Prime Time TV. (8:00pm Saturday's on CBS.)
Count your blessings....:D (Not that I mind remembering Ginger & Maryanne....:p )
I remember "Lost in Space" as a prime time series, and learning to use a slide rule, before calculators.
I remember when Annette Funicello got boobs.:(
And when Superman wasn't reruns.
Lost in Space, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeannie... I recall all that but Remembering when Superman wasn't reruns!!! That's like Howdy Doody old. Thats like Maverick and The Fugitive (not the movies) old.Quote:

Howdy Doody was a tool created by facist McCarthy era politicians and narcissistic Hollywood celebs intent on molding the next generation into mindless automatons.Quote:

And that goes double for Buffalo Bob.
They were in cahoots with the Mickey Mouse Club too!
I remember growing up watching Kaptain Kangaroo and Popeye cartoons. Later when we got one of the first color TVs on the block, we watched Deputy Dawg and Gilligan's Island and Batman...some of the first shows made for color TV.
As for TV babes back then, I was a big fan of Petticoat Junction...man, all of those girls were hott!!!

Still sexy though!
Sigh!!! I remember Bob Denver when he was a beatnick, before Gilligan's Island. Beverly Hillbillies was the #1 show in America, the B&W Gunsmoke's, Wagon Train, I Spy and way too many others. :(
MMMMM...the original Hee Haw Honey's!!! :D
Now that you mention 'Dobie Gillis,' what was the name of the charcter played by Tuesday Weld? I thought she was absolutely gorgeous and certainly Dobie did too. As I remember she was way out of his league. (as were most women - which was the point of the series)
Anyway, I saw her on a talk show several years ago. She told the audience that she got the name 'Tuesday Weld' because Tuesdy was the day that she and the producer Max Schulman created a 'weld.' (meaning they made love)
Interesting story, and it came from Tuesday Weld herself.
Not everything was sweet & innocent in the early 1960's......:D
Captain Kangeroo,
Friendly Giant
Lamb Chop
Moose N Squirell watch out for borus (hahaha!)
Geez, you guys are old. The only place I've ever heard of any of this stuff is Nick@Nite:D
Growing old is kinda like going to Heaven, you'll get there if you're lucky!!!:D
I remember Ed Sullivan on Sunday night (I think Lassie was on before that)..sigh

Yes, I remember that and wondering why the girls were getting nuts about it. I also remember seeing Rodney Dangerfield on the show, I used to feel so sorry for him because he never got respect..:)
