I have noted it myself and it realllly slows down the works.
What I have noticed, however, is that Netscape 7.1 (still my browser of choice) really speeds up Windrivers.
Try it and you'll see.
mozilla 1.6a here only browser I use
Is there a big speed increase over IE with mozilla?
Have you noticed?
The program takes longer to open up, but pages do seem to move a little quicker.
yeah Mozilla runs faster than IE for me. Plus all the nice goodies in mozilla I like alot, plus it looks better than IE :) oh and it runs on my mac and linux nad bsd machines cant beat that
www.avantbrowser.com for me. Faster than IE (even though it uses IE )
speaking of advertising and such....haven't checked it out myself yet, but 1and1.com is supposedly offering 3 YEARS of free hosting with no obligations.......5GB/mo throughput, 30 POP mail clients...some other cool stuff. Will post in hot deals if it seems legit.

No problems here, I tried it in both IE6 and Firebird 0.7
I have seen oddities like that before, but refreshing seems to do the trick most of the time.
You are right O and I responded to that one, too.Quote:

So, what is up with Windrivers.....or.... what is up with IE????
Gotta make the bucks. This place gets a lot of traffic.
On broadband, i don't notice the ad's at all. i use netscape, anything is better then IE and it's vulnerabilities
You're right, Netscape is faster. :p On pages where that flashing banner ad for HP is located it loaded it on about 1/2 the time.Quote:

Gotta say this browser is pretty cool. Lots of features and it's faster than Mozilla firebird which I have used until just now. Impressive little plug-in.Quote:
