Hi there,
A car is a car, nothing more then a piece of metal with 4 wheels. :)
Ju Leon...
Thats like saying a woman is a woman... they have legs, eyes and arms.... Every car is different and it's the differneces that make great cars
Hi there,
A woman is a living person, with a mind, heart and soul, not some object. A car is a piece of metal, as it value drop as soon you roll out of shop. Nothing more then that!
Ju Leon...
Sure beats anime. :rolleyes:Quote:

I'm not knocking the subaru (nice car really) I'm just saying it's not really comparing apples to oranges. (RWD vrs. AWD, 4 cyl vrs. 8 cyl, etc). If I was in the market for an all wheel sedan then subaru would be number one on the list. But for drop dead good looks, SWEET sound and V8 rear wheel drive goodnes the GTO has got it. ;)Quote:

Ah yes, the Holden finally comes over here.....Does this mean GM will finally start doing things right? The Impala SS was supposed to be a Holden. Instead we get the same old pushrod V6 and FWD 4spd auto from the GTP. So I guess I'm glad I didn't hold off my car purchase untill then......not like I could afford to drop 40 grand on a car, anyway.
Why is it that the rest of the world get all these really cool, fast or fun cars and we get the most unfun, slow, ****ty frigen cars in north america.
Example Ford Focus... It's a monster of a car in europe... We get a under powered POS in america
Hi there,
I'll wait until the fuel-cell cars comes out. Might be all powerful cars, but they aren't efficient, nor clean.

For some unknown reason your post takes me back to 1968 and the movie "Bullit" Steve McQueen. There is a ten minute chase scene between aQuote:

The only thing missing is the twin hood-scoops.
Every production GTO since inception has had them.......
I'm sure there's already an aftermarket solution....but yes, GM should have done that. Oh well, look at what passes for a Malibu or Impala now......it could be worse.Quote:

Yeah, but WOT, the GTO still resonates the thrilling deep throated rumble, where the Subaru sounds like a quarter trapped inside a coffee can. Real men don’t drive coffee cans.Quote:

And the quarter mile times are below 14 for both cars, where the variance from different tests shows they average very close again. Close enough for me to say that in all race circumstances between both cars, I would put my money on the better driver, because that is what it takes to shave those hundredths of a second needed to win this close of a race.
Beyond that, the V8 will show better performance fully loaded with hunnies, where the Impresa’s performance will show noticeable degradation for every additional passenger. And unless you start all of your races at a starting line, top end performance is where it is at if you want to win a race that starts while the cars are already moving. A V8, 350 HP, with 365 lbs torque at a very wide RPM range, I really like the sounds the GTO is still making…where a 4 cilindar, turbo, 300 hp, 300 lbs torque, well you see what I am getting at.
The All wheel drive, short wheel base is great for a car that runs sub 80 mph, and off road, but between the two going over 100mph on pavement, the GTO should be much more stable...lastly, top speed in the GTO is governed at 160, the Ipreza cuts off at 145...seems to me a full out sprint, the GTO is going to pull away, unless you do something about that... ;)
You must have a lot of unused space between your ears.Quote:
