I dont usually buy parts over the internet but money is tight and I want to upgrade. Although, I wont be able to physically wring the neck of some geek behind a counter, I need advice on good cheap places to buy parts.
Currently I been looking at Newegg.com. They seem cheap. Anyone buy from them?
How about other places. I want to upgrade to a P4 3 gig. I would consider a barebone if the price is right. I prefer to do it all on my own though.
newegg.com is the best around (IMHO). Their support is great and if the thing is dead they'll replace it (from what I heard that is. I haven't had to do it yet ;))

I too have had good luck with Newegg.com. I have never had to return anything, so I can not say how well they do with that. It seems like often when you go with the cheapest place around, you get what you pay for. Newegg seems to be the exception.

Directron.com (Texas area ) Yeee Haaaw. Other than buying processor and/or m/board, buy the rest locally. You're not saving anything on the small stuff. Plus you support the local economy...
E-buyer now has an outlet in the U.S. (has for some time I'm told). I always buy from them in the UK and can do nothing but praise them. Prices and delivery second to none. At least have a look at their website at www.ebuyer.com
Are they paying you for sponsorship or what ? :eek2: the 'power of the google' will always find you a cheaper price :D... & quite often too if you ask me with them !
