~e5d141.tmp and dreamweaver
I use dreamweaver on XP pro and have noticed several instances of this temporary file ~e5d141.tmp in my processes list. A quick search on *G* only told me that it was associated with Flash and Dreamweaver 2004 MX. Any one else have this and is it causing any harm?
Please report to Macromedia
Hey all:
I'm having the same problem, and it prevents me from opening Fireworks 4.0 while DWMX2004 is open.
I've filed a support issue with Macromedia, but they claim that very few users are experiencing this, and thus, it is a low priority for them.
If more people file support requests about this issue, they may take it more seriously. Each instance of ~e5d141.tmp chews up quite a bit of memory.
Here is the support link:

It accesses the internet for some reason
I get:
~e5d141.tmp
~E5D141.TMP-3B917BD1.pf and
IS-10VSB.TMP-0DCA8983.pf
My computer at home is OFF-LINE. For some reason after I installed DW my computer keeps trying to access the internet randomly no matter what programs I have or don't have going. When I first noticed it, I opened proccesses and temporarily saw the above files in the process window. It was the only time I saw them. Why the heck is my computer trying to access the internet without my permission. It really pisses me off. I would say Macromedia knows and purposely blows it off because no one realizes these files are accessing the internet for some undisclosed reason. It sure seems maliscious or atleast like an invasion of privacy. I only want my computer to get on the internet when "I" SAY SO !
Thank you for the welcome!
I haven't complained but I wish I had the time too! I think it's just wrong what these big companies get away with just because people don't have all the time it takes to complain. It reminds me of when AOL gave a free month of service "so you can try it to see if you want to keep it", when what they were really doing was getting your credit card info and relying on you forgetting to call and cancel before the date they charge you. My guess is that 85-90% are so busy they forget and get charged whether they want the service or not. I went years playing their game. I would set reminders in my phone and on my computer 2 days before the "charge" date, call to cancel knowing they would offer me another 3 months. Ha, ha AOL. They would give it to me for as long as I would play their game (years). I only forgot 1 time (cost me $50) but they would usually connect me with sister companies that had other offers. Once they offered me a free months membership to a club that said sign up and we will send you coupons for $10 of free gas each week for months. I said "You get commission for signing me up right?", "yes" he said. I said "Do you get your commission whether I cancel before you charge me or not?" He said "yes". I said "If I do it and before we hang up cancel right away will you still send me the coupons?", he said "yes". So I did it and got a bunch of free gas. LMFAO. Screw you big corporations that prey on peoples hectic lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
