Things that suck about vacation

Having to change a tire, in the bush, at 3 in the morning, without a flash light, with the factory jack on your friends truck so you don't have to walk the 5 miles back through the bush to get to the highway so that you can walk another 10 miles back to civilization.

Other than that being on vacation for 2 weeks rocks.

Having to change a tire at any time sucks but on vacation it eats used kitty litter! Hey DA you weren't on the AlCan were you ;) .

I've be on vacation for 10 days now and I have another week, but so far it's all been honeydoo work. I'm a hoping for a little jaunt down to Kenai this week. :thumbs:

I the bush as in the road is 5 miles back that way, beyond the 3 trees we moved out of the way so we could continue driving and through the mud bog that we barely noticed because it is 3 in the morning.

How about having to go outside at 7:00am after a lousy night's sleep and it rained the night before, to an outhouse, and then coming back to a cabin with no running water....:confused:

....and there's no smoking in the cabin.....:mad:

I think it's the week where you spend 14 hours a day working on anything that's broken or in need of repair around the house. If nothing is broke then you repaint the whole house or replace the carpet or dig a hole for a swimming pool.

Survival gear? We had all the beers we would need to survive 2-3 days in the bush.
