Yeah, did you see any coverage from Haiti? What a shame. Just compare the visuals you see from there with those from the hurricane damage in the US. Sad. So, is everything shutting down again over on your side Ya_know? Yeah, I am sick of talking about Hurricanes, too. Worse yet: thinking about them again and again this year. An email today:Quote:

There was that wizzing in the shower thread here and I thought about what I had to do to overcome the septic system problem I've had for about a month now: peeing in the sink!!! You save a gallon of water every time you don't flush.https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

Again, you show that you don't know what you are talking about. I have been in both states for extended durations, I'd pick FL over CA any day. CA is alright to visit, but for the most part its a wasteland!Quote:

1. At some point you know you’re going to have a tree in your house!
Now that you mention it,.. it sounds like it might be kinda fun to live in Florida.
Good one. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2006/04/1.gif My tree ended up in my shop though.https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

But God saw what they were up to and crushed them with hurricanes. Now they can't do that electronic voting stuff and we will be watching for the hanging chads. ;)
Indeed. https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif The shutters are half down and plywood still up and the generator is still outside my kitchen window just in case.
Good pic gaz. I saw one of phalic Florida all schribbled up and hiding in Georgia

I'm holding my breath!!! Here it comes!!!
Be safe Yak_Now, seems to be a bit higher than where Frances hit. Mrs Titchski advised me to put up the shutters. I did so and advised her they aren't coming down again until November
I've been away from the news for this one, is it looking bad, CAT-3 last I heard??
Yeah: Cat3 and it's just passing over the east coast somewhere near Ya_know. So, he may be out of touch for awhile. Yeah, this one has just kept going west. But, it is supposed to head north towards jaeger. You ready jae? Damn! Right now it is blowing about 40 mph steady and the rain has really started here. So, the Yak is getting nailed right now. It's either heading towards me and Titchski, or its heading for jaeger. Either way, some of us are in trouble AGAIN!! https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gifQuote:

Charley passed over my island two miles north of Pine Island/Bokeelia (where I live). It was at 145 mph and if you took the chance of looking out the window, well, you can't see the street 10 yards away. NOONE is standing up in that.
Anyway, call this a blog if you want https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif, but I can't sleep through this, and I am worried about others down here. Be well Yak and jaeger and 'ski!! https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2006/04/1.gif And, everyone else.https://forums.windrivers.com/images.../2005/03/1.gif
Another thing I am sick of about now: The freaking Weather Channel. In fact, I must be addicted to it right about now. I've been watching it now for six weeks, and the first thing I think of when I wake up in the morning is the freaking Weather Channel Now that is a horrible addiction.
