I just saw this on CNN
Comedian Rodney Dangerfield died Tuesday at the age of 82 at UCLA Medical Center, his office tells CNN. Details soon.
Holy crap. This is just terrible. He found many great comedians and brought them out into the limelight so the world could laugh at their jokes, Jim Carrey and Sam Kinison come to mind immediately, its sad to see him go.
Sad.......................Truly Sad
a truly funny man...
Mad respect for Rodney.
A man worthy of two threads in the lounge depicting respect for his work and efforts to keep a smile on all of our faces!
I agree.Quote:

You were truly the best, and brought a smile to my face too many times to count. You will truly be missed.

Well,.. in all fairness, we posted only 2 minutes apart and I did look to see if it had already been posted. :pQuote:

Ageed. Now come fight me in Politico's. I'm bored. ;-)
I'm sure he is finally getting some much deserved respect!

I like the fact that Rodney gave back to the comic community. His shows on HBO in the mid 1980s brought us Roseanne, Sam Kinison, and several others who have all become household names.
He had my respect all along.
He was a funny man. I'll never forget him in Caddyshack.
RIP!!!
yes , its a sad day
oh , I remember you , I could never understand you that well when you were on that show , has your english improved since then ? :DQuote:

No. Just based on what you "said" to the chef, I thought you "knew" him or somethng. The muppet comments and all. Whatever. My mistake. Welcome to the lounge fx.
For him I would. I just loved him (I also felt so sorry for him when I was a kid and I first saw him on the Ed Sullivan show) :sad:Quote:
