She was on the radio music awards last night performing. They pretended to play the wrong song, and she stopped the band just to prove that her mic was really on, then they went back to playing. I believe that this whole thing will probably sell her records better.
Honestly however, live she sounded like sand on porcelain...very abrasive, and showed no real purpose. But I believe she achieved the sound she wants…such a shame.
Her sister Jessica kicks a$$ all over her, and Britney! You all know that Britney has lip-synced for years don’t you!?!

UPDATE!
The real story is finally coming out. As it turns out, Ashleigh had severe acid reflux and her voice was so bad that she could barely speak before showtime, that's why they decided to use the voice track for the live performance. The funny part is she was in a few skits on SNL and didn't seem to have a problem with her voice.
The even funnier thing is that she recently did a magazine article that blasted artists that lip synch and said she was extremely opposed to that kind of fakeness and that she would never EVER do that herself.
Wonder if there will be a fourth excuse to come out or if we only get three.
I haven't watched that show since like '90. Everytime I try it is just super sucky. The people and skits on for the past several years have anoyed meQuote:

Ok you guys caught me. The truth is I WAS a huge Ashlee Simpson fan. I watched her tv shows for the last few months and really dig her. Her songs touched me, it was like she was singing about me. Then to see that fiasco on SNL, well I was crestfallen. My new idol is the chick drummer from the White Stripes. Her drumming is absolutely horrible and when she sings it's so bad that you just can't understand why she's even singing. I guess my point is that it's pretty obvious that she's singing herself because there's no way they'd record something like that and play it for people.

Can someone please tell me why an unfamous father with two no talent daughters is on network TV being interviewed? They obviously have naked pictures of someone very important or they know where Osama Bin Laden is hiding out. Those are the only two explanations that make sense.
