But I could do that without the 9999 thing. In fact, there'd be no point in doing that at all, because there’s no record of that in any way that the last post of 2004, or first of 2005 could be a specific post count of a user, so what would the point be?

Three points I'd like to make on this, one, You can't insult me no matter how hard you try, and you certainly can't use insults to get me to do anything different.

The only fight I'm involved in right now is with freddy, and it's one sided, in that he's the one being overly unreasonable; reporting me to a mod for not breaking rules, then he goes and does the same thing he's complaining about. Real stable individual that freddy.

Look, Freddy's "tactics" as you put it, are simple, he's a flamboyant lose cannon, and I am more than capable of standing up to him and keeping a civil tongue and cool head, as I have with you in recent months. You and I have done fine, despite your recent attempts to foster our past disagreements. So instead you have been focusing the issue with Cleetus because you can’t find my button. You enjoy this far more then you let on, but fact is, you haven’t gotten a rise out of me in a long time, and despite Freddy’s behavioral cry for help, neither has he.

As far as not being able to delete posts, that would be a real tear jerker. In fact, not being able to edit posts would be even more heart wrenching. Fact is, I believe that this forum would do better without either feature...hence another facet to my purpose. My effort however is unlike the flamboyent Freddy. My effort uses passive resistance, which is currently not breaking any rules.

Yeah sure, when we are 'playing' (me & you do & have always whether you'd realised that or not) I can raise the odd smile or three at some of the antics, but we are back to this OTT stuff once again, which is why I've come to the conclusion that we need more 'refereeing' & more active moderation, as your idea & my idea & everyone elses of where any lines are on this are obviously different !
