[QUOTE=Platypus]How about Phobophobia - fear of phobias?
"We have nothing to fear, but fear itself."
I wonder if that is what FDR meant?:D
I did not quite find this phobia.----->Here
but, it sure made me laugh.
AFDB-Phobia.:flames:

Strange, I have no phobias but somethings I find difficult to do... like I don't mind spiders or being next to them, I just don't want to touch them. I have no problem with snakes that have no venom, yet the feel of slugs or snails is vile....
NooNoo u prolly have a phobie of not being able to solve a computer problem, am i right??????
Nope, never, they always get solved one way or another... just how many hours is the problem worth?

Broke my upper right arm and shoulder in a fall about 10 years ago, and now changing a light bulb while standing on a chair gives me cold sweats, so I'd say acrophobia fits the bill.
And street, I loved the foil beanie, but just exactly how'd you find the site?
Hi Street! Long time no see.
Phobias:
Acrophobia -- I can climb up there, but I don't like it. Used have climb around in the rigging on big boats.
Hemophobia -- not afraid of seeing other people's blood -- not very comfortable with seeing my own.

I do have some acrophobia. I'm happy enough (but cautious) at normal roof level, but I always disliked doing TV antennas at work. I did get caught once with a bit of a panic attack when I had to do a solo installation onto a chimney on a 2-storey house at the top of a fairly high hill. The extension ladder only reached about 18" above the gutter, and when I came to get down, I couldn't make myself go over the edge to get back on the ladder. I had to go sit in the vee between the high side of the chimney and the roof for a while, until I calmed down & stopped picturing myself overbalancing & crashing down onto the concrete with no-one around to help...
