Abit KT7 RAID and non RAID with Hercules. (Carried on from Asus Q)

Hello again

The Hercules Prophet II GTS Pro will not even boot on this mobo. There is a 300W ps in the machine which works fine so it's not a power prob, but the thing sits there constantly beeping on the RAID version, on the non RAID it gives 1 long followed by 2 short beeps.

I've tried cleaning the contacts, changing AGP settings to 2X and lowering the aperture to 64MB, now I'm sick of beep bloody beep.

Any clues on this one? (Carried on from the Asus Q).

You might want to check with Hercules about getting a replacement video card. From what I've read, there were a batch of Prophet II's that just refuse to work with Abit KT7 boards: something to do with the power supplied to the card. Herc is aware of the problem, and depending on what serial number your card is, may send you a replacement.
