Hi ho Spiff, and all!
Platypus, extreme monotreme reporting for duty.
Not sure about Forum Roll Call though, a bit "classroom..." ?
Hey, why are all the "old farts" posting in the welcome thread...? ;)
Everybody has gotten confus-ed :thumbs2: .. I picked this thread up by browsing 'last 48 hours', but it wasn't until I got to techz's reply that I realised we have a whole forum for newbies to say hello in :thumbs:Quote:

Hi, my name is AmyB. A semi-peri-menopausal mom with 1 child, 2 dogs, and a hubby. I used to be a assistant network admin, now I work at a church taking care of the computers and work in the office. I like working with computers and love to troubleshoot them. Anyway, that's it for now, I need more coffee. I am the one in the back trying to see

hey here I am.Not much to know about me except that i like intel stuff, and nvidia cards...:)
Hey All,
TB here. I don't get to visit as often as before due to real life events, but I do pop in from time to time to see what's happening. It's nice to still see alot of familiar faces are still around.
I'm still Asst. Network Admin, been quite busy around here lately and busy finishing off all the home renovations (the lovely Mrs. Tacklebox decided to renovate everything all at once), and keeping my two little ones occupied. Which leaves me little time for fishing/kayaking.
So it goes...
i just couldn`t stand to see a lonely post so i figured i might as well post another one,as for myself i am 67 yers old and startes forgetting thing, like trying to remember the debug command to do a low level format on a seagate 10 meg on a western digital controler card for my new xt with 640 bits of mems,

Wow, a newbie that joined in Nov. of 1998!
Welcome! Nice to see some of the lurkers introduce themselves.
Hi everybody!
I have been a member for a couple of years but I don't post very often since by the time I find a thread I could help with the problem is usually solved or someone (usually confus-ed) has already said the same thing I would have.
I have a few years of experience in data recovery and computer forensics. I have been building computers for about 7 years now and have worked as a PC tech for about five of years. I am an AMD and Nvidia fan but I don't go nuts if someone says something bad about them. I am A+ and MCSE certified. Currently my wife and I are attending the University of Texas at Arlington. I am in electrical engineering and she is in mechanical. I like to solve problems and help other people out. It makes me feel like my brain contains something other than useless facts and trivia. That's about it.
Welcome to WinDrivers. Don't be a stranger!

Hello all, I have been reading Windrivers for years now and thought that I would just drop in and say hello.
Hello! Glad that you are reading Windrivers, I hope that you learn as much here as I have!
Welcome Cass, don't be a stranger. Tells us a little about yourself.
Hi Cassie, welcome to Windrivers. :)
 Hi!! Welcome!
welcome I am new here a few weeks now and love Windrivers. Did not know there was a roll call until I saw your post Thanks!

Hello pcgal, nice to have you around! We've had a number of Canadian members here over the years, and enjoyed their company.
Welcome to Windrivers, pcgal.
Thanks you guys! And i have to agree about us Canadians but must make another point for fun. Did you know that Canadian people say that you can't find any more friendly people any where in Canada like us Newfies (Newfoundland) We are known for our unique kind people. I was born and raised in Ottawa ,Ontaio, I moved here to Newfoundland four years ago and I loved the people here so much I never went back to the city. When we pass strangers in our cars, you know you will always get a big hand wave Hello. At first I could not figure out how all these people that were waving at me knew me until it was explained to me that no one here will pass you by without a friendly hello. So guys I am now a True NEWFIE GAL LOL Thanks again! All is Cool
Welcome pcgal from the west coast
