The primary channel only has that one hd attached to it. Also when the pc boots up the bios lists it as udma mode 4. And I'm sad to admit that I do have the latest version of the bios... I hoped...

Here's the way to do it without TweakUI
Open your registry and delete the value named 'IsShortCut' from the keys HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\lnkfile and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\piffile.

First thing, be sure you have the latest drivers from Nvidia. Your PC specs shouldn't hurt it that badly... ofcourse a faster motherboard and processor wouldn't hurt, but my friend runs it on a PIII...
