We recently upgraded our IIS5.0 to IIS6 as part of our upgrade to Server 2003.
Ever since then, we get the above error when trying to download a file (6.99mb).
About 75% complete and the download...

thanks for the reply, but I don't think it quite works like that. When we dial 9 it is part of number to dial out..... but when we hit the "line 1" labeled button what number is it entering?

I installed a computer at a local business here. Everything works except the modem because it needs to select a line before it dials the ISP. On the phone the lady just hits the "line 1 or 2"...

Yeah take my word for it. Routers will do it for you. Keep the WORKGROUP name the same but the computer names MUST be different. Load NetBeui to see the local computers.... don't forget to share...

I ended up geting the Linksys 4port..... plugged it into my lan and most everything configured itself. Lets hope it is this easy at the customers tomorrow.

Holy Crap! I ordered the router from Outpost last night at 10.30pm and for only $12.XX I chose overnight. I picked it up this morning at 10.30am!

I understand that the hub will not assign an IP address. However is there not a server on the otherside that assigns IP Addresses? If so, why didn't it assign the second computer an IP address.

First, I don't think you can do anything in terms of the hardware (cable modem). Your bandwidth (if I am correct) is throttled by the server.
Cable modem I think is not configured for bandwidth...

Also, in relation to this topic, after I installed EZ CD 5 Platinum, my computer now reboots when I go to shutdown.

I am a little unclear - I tried using XPs CD writing software, and it burnt me 3 coasters which forced me to install EZCd 5 platinum

NTFS is great for security, but unless you are absolutely sure you have no hardware glitches, I wouldn't convert.
