hey mate, have used both. both are reliable and quick. and the price is resonable. wholesale place i buy my parts from, just seem to have more netgear than linksys.

actaully you can still have some fun with the sales people/tech personnel, ifyou say it with a smile. my experience has shown that alot of the floor personnel are actually sales peopele indisguise....

i also ran into the same problem with an ess souncard on win98se. i had to uncheck it in the configsys. and autoexec.bat by running msconfig start/run/msconfig.....good luck

i ran into a smiliar problem once. i went into my computer/device manager/deleted mouse driver and rebooted.
also make sure all grounds (motherboard) are tight...
