my experience is dual's only good for servers that need to support many users. for gaming or home use. dual is not a good way to go. faster single proc is better.

the image_filename is just whatever the file name is called. same as image-filename or imageFilename.

u need to enable either portforwarding for port 21 or whatever port the ftpd is using. or open the port to allow incoming traffic.

what kind of cables r u using?
if your not using precrimped cables then youll have problems with the connectors. or if u arent using a patch panel then i would suggest getting one and get patch...

win98 boot disk cant see an NTFS partition. it can only see FAT or fFAT32 partitions. redo the install but boot of the cd instead of floppy's.

most new MAC's come with both OS X and OS9 installed already on them. im assuming Ronin is using OS X and wants the computer to boot into OS9 instead of OSX. i think the an option in the prefernce...

2000 seems to pause when u are running an athlon, usually the older style athlons. built a box with a 1GHz athlon and 2000 seemed to stall at that screen for awhile.

any tye of logitech reciver will work, you could check ebay. or just wait to talk to logitech, not really worth it to buy a new mouse just for the reciver.

went out to radio shack and bought some 68 ohm resistors. fan speed dropped down to 2500 RPM. just enough to keep heatsink cool. noise level also dropped considerably. thanks for the info guys.
