Nope hit a blank there. After a lot of messing about seems I may have to buy a Patriot Recovery disc. Seems a bit daft just to get the correct driver. Unless anyone else knows differently !

Hi, I had a similar problem only to find out that the floppy drive [they're not infallable] had packed it in. I tried swapping it with a known drive from a newer machine and that cured the problem. ...
