Ive only worked with it a bit and I had a server I had to fix that ran QNX 4 but it was a modified version. But its using the bsd micro-kernel which makes the kernel very small, wich back in the day...

Fedora Core 5 is the latest Redhat desktop, since RH doesnt make desktop anymore only server stuff, now there still is RedHat but there last desktop version was 9.0

oops sorry looking at the file I see FC5 so ya fedora.
Are you just wanting to update the kernel without compile? If so then dont get the kernel src rpm. Just get the binary rpm then install it....

might be eaiser to use redhat (fedora) for this. You need to use bind, and its hella hard to setup so you will need a book and maybe some help form the irc channels

Hope u like it. And learn it well. Most pre-compiled distros are a it slow, only way to make it really fast is to compile all the apilcations for your hardware :) Gentoo linux does...
