video driver problem
When I try to upgrade my video drivers it states that I need a "X" disk from the manufacturer. Is there any way to get around this?

I've seen this behavior when installing drivers from many different manufacturers, but most often Nvidia's beta stuff. Usually it's due to poorly written INF or CAT files.
When it occurs, it should give you a window to browse for the file. Just point it to the folder that contains the rest of the driver's installation files, and you should be all set.
