    Resolved [RESOLVED] asus bios-press f1 for windows 2000

    ive noticed some asus boards have an option during post that says press f1 for windows 2000.it stays on for a few seconds then goes through normally.does anyone know what this option is used for?

    Yeah, that's usually for the RAID or ATA-100 off-chip controller on the board....some of them need to be accessed in a certain way when installing Win2K...I've seen it with Siig cards too. And they aren't kidding either.
