    Question Invalid page fault

I have windows 98 first edition with all the updates from windows update. Every once in a while I get an invalid page fault in module oleaut32.dll when I close a page of internet explorer version 5.00.2919.6307. What could be causing this? It doesn't affect anything when I close the error except when I restart the computer, the rundll32.exe stops respnding and the computer won't restart. When that happens, I have to ctl alt del and click on shutdown and then start the computer back up. It won't let me ctl alt del twice to restart. In fact whenever the computer gets an invalid page fault or something screws up, that rundll32.exe file always hangs up. But I usually don't get many errors

    Hi,
    Try the Repair option:
Start--Settings--CP--Add/RemovePrograms--Double left click Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.
    Click "Repair IE".

If you have IE5.01 then the repair tool may be:
    Start--Run type in msinfo32 and press enter. Click " Tools--IE Repair ".

    HIH,cheers.
