    HDD indicator LED

I've a tiny problem with my motherboard. It is a QDI Brilliant 1S 440BX. The HDD indicator led remains on, even if the HDD is inactive.
Sometimes it works, but after a powerdown, the problem remains. My CD-ROM is connected as a slave to the HDD, on the primary HDD cable.

I know this is not a major problem, but this is really annoying. Any ideas?

    Machine config:
    HDD : Quantum 3.2SE
CD-ROM: Creative 36X With infrared remote control

    Thanks

I have seen the same thing on many computers where a CD-ROM drive is slaved to the hard drive on the primary controller. Try moving your CD drive to the secondary controller and let your hard drive have the primary controller all to itself.
