dell BIOS upgrade
i have a dell optiplex XM 5120 w/120Mhz pentium i downloaded the bios upgrade from dell and now mycomputer says my chip is a 100 Mhz pentium. where cn i get different bios upgrade, or where can i get the old bios bck?

Dell as far as I know have specific M Boards made just for them so you can only use their Bios. Your new bios must exactly match the chip revision on your M/Board open up and look for the larger embedded (UMC etc) chips and write down their serial No's. Somewhere you should find a matching Bios number. Good Luck and dont FLASH too often - as they say!!
