Yes a great idea!!!
But, you need to make sure it doesn't restrict too much airflow either.
You will need to check it once in a while.
Try to have the tower raised a couple of feet onto a table off the floor so it doesn't catch as much dirt.

Good idea. I'm doing something similar with my machines. Speaking of which, I am in the process of changing the filters on one of computers now.
I have found that "vent filters" attached with velcro work great.
Oh . . .I try to change my filters at least every three to four weeks. You will be amazed as to the amount of dust it will trap.
Sorry don't have a digital camera yet to take a pic of my case.

Don't ask me how I found out but....
Strech pantyhose out across the front of your fan. Doesn't stop the tiny dust particles but it does stop hair, dust bunnies etc. Easy to clean and virtually no airflow decrease.
Note: To correct display problems, hold the "ALT"key and press"F4".

But seriously, how did you find this out?

Chieftec makes cases for antec...just not their PS.
As for the panty hose thing.....lets just say they breath! J/K
I made a ram air system for my Trans-Am in high school. I completely removed the air filter and used two layers of pantyhose to stop the dirt/bugs. It worked great!

I'm using generic scotch-brite scouring pads for filters, they work really well, and I just vaccum them off about once a month without even taking them out of the case. The inside of the case is almost dust-free. The filters are on a pair of 6" fans, which are slowed by a fan control, and are absolutely quiet. Even turned down, they flow more air than the old un-filtered 4" fans at full speed.
