    Post Celeron 566 + EPoX EP-3VCA2+

Hi all - I've just basically rebuilt my sick system from scratch, starting with new mobo and CPU. This new mobo has an AUTO switch for setting the core voltage, but so did my last one and I now have a fried CPU in a drawer. Can this setting be trusted or shoul I manually set the core V just to be safe? It seems to be running a bit hot (120f). btw, what is the core V on the 566? Thanks for all the helpful replies to my last plea for help =)

Depending on the stepping of the 566 celeron processor it varies .2 v

    For

    SL3W7 or SL46T cB0 its 1.5v

    SL4NW or SL4PC cC0 its 1.7v
    Life is good...sometimes...
