[RESOLVED] Windows Will Not Reconize My PCI Communications Ports!?!?

I have recently reformatted my hard drive and everything works fine execpt my communications ports, therw for my modem and voodoo card do not work, i have tryed everthing from changing the bios settings to reinatalling all the drivers on my computer. Some one had mentioned PCI 2.1 configuration . . . and that my motherboard may not support it, any any one tell me how to fix this or what PCI 2.1 comfiguration is?

If you are talking about a PCI communication device that shows up as a ! in device manager, that is your modem. You will need to get the correct driver from the manufacturer. If you post what kind of modem it is, someone here can probably help. As to the VooDoo, is it the 3D graphics acclerator card or the 2D/3D video card? If you post your system specs we can help further.
