CHECKSUM BAD F1 TO RESMUE
I've had this message coming up for a while now during bootup (CHECKSUM BAD). I have replaced the MOBO battery, completely re-formatted the drive, reinstalled everything approx. 3 weeks ago, and all was good until now. That message is back. I have to go in and reset the Processor speed manually when you turn on the system. If you select AUTO in the BIOS it does not set the right multiplier factor or voltage for the chip. Could this be a MOBO problem or a PROCESSOR CHIP problem, or both combined?

Find and set in BIOS settings keystroke like that "Reset user configuration data = Yes (or enabled)".

It may be also unreliable contact in battery holder/connector.
