    Post Bios update

    When I start my pc I get the message can't update ESCD. I have tryed to update my bios, I can flash it, but every time I try to program a new one I get an error message and I have to reload bios defaults. My motherboard is a ASUS P2-99 with a bios date 3/3/2000. What shall I do ??

    Pull the jumper and clear the BIOS. If it doesn't have a jumper, pull the battery and wait about 5 minutes. Start from scratch. If this doesn't work, then the BIOS chip is NG.
