    Question abit kt7a raid m/b

    Anyone out there know if the new abit kt7a raid m/board supports the following memory? I love to use abit boards but there tech support really sucks!!!!
     128MB SD RAM DDR PC 1600 200MHZ
     128MB SD RAM DDR PC 2000 266MHZ
    I e-mailed them but they usally say to ask the supplier and nine times out of ten the supplier couldn't tell **** from shinola and they say talk to the mfg. cause they just sell the ****!!!!!!

    As the memory you are listing is DDR then it would be safe to say that it won't fit on the Abit boards due to the difference in slots makeup. DDR DIMM's are configured different physically to Standard DIMM's. You are going to need to find a board that utilises the Ali DDR chipset or the AMD 760 DDR Chipset if you wish to use it.

    I have that motherboard and it does not support the memory you are referencing.
