    Wink curant on ps/2

    Does someone know what is the max amp that you can get from a PS/2 port??? I search somme book and the net an I don't fund anything....

    Yikes! That's 200mA...

    Someone like Ruslan who does m/board repairs would probably know for sure, but I think the pico-fuse you blow if you do the wrong thing with a PS/2 keyboard while the system is on, may be 1Amp. More recent boards are protected with a polyswitch which is self-resetting. The reliable limit may be set by the mini-DIN socket, I wouldn't try to run more than a few hundred milliamp through the little contacts in them.
