    Question Top Gun motherboard

Have Top Gun mother board with AMI BIOS serial number L906595.
Is there an upgrade available? If so how do I obtain it?
    Please advise.

May be...nevertheless, download form Windrivers BIOS ID utilites and identify Your MoBo. You can also use Wim's BIOS site (or another one from Windrivers BIOS utils section) as well.

It is a PC-Chips board that normally has 1Mb of L2 Cache onboard. I used to sell them a few years back.

Everyone above is correct. I had a Topgun mobo, and it was a PC Chips M575, although they may have called more than one model a "Topgun". It was also sold as an Alton MB575 on PC Wares site. Info and Bios' are on the PCChips site www.pcchips.com, and also at www.pcware.com. Just click on the PCChips icon then go to MB almanac. If you want it, I may have the oem cd that came with it. Although, since newer drivers are on the websites, I can't see why you would.
One word of caution, I have had several PCChips boards (cause they're cheap!) and each one has been tempermental. Also, their support is poor. I would be vary wary of buying a board from them again. The first board I bought from them actually had 2 rows of fake cache chips soldered on! Good luck.
