Outlook express 6 sending to all of address book
Ok.. heres the deal a customer has IE6 and OE6 installed on their machines, claims no virus, and yet every email they recieve the senders are automatically added to the address book (no biggy right?) Next when she tries to send a message it is sent to everybody and not just the specified email address. Her whole address book gets the message.

Check e-mail preferences to ensure that cc is not set for all the addresses.

I would most definatly check for a virus. Claiming not ot have one normally means they haven't updated their AV software in a while or they haven't bothered with AV software.

your attitude says windrivers is your last resort. as Darren mentioned you did not say you were doing telephone support. Are we supposed to know who you are or something?

if they are unaware, walk them through an AV update and have them run a full scan and call you back when done. Give them a case # and leave the ticket open in case they call back.
